Meet the founder

Meet Leanne Cunningham

Talent Media was born at a time when Leanne Cunningham had to start again.

In 2023, she left the recruitment business she had helped grow to seven figures and began rebuilding from scratch while raising her two boys. With almost two decades of experience, strong relationships and a determination to create something of her own, she built Talent Media around school runs, LinkedIn and a belief that recruitment could be done differently.

Leanne's career spans engineering, industrial, construction, manufacturing, food and drink, and executive search. She has operated at board level within large recruitment organisations and has helped hundreds of people find work and take the next step in their careers.

Today, Talent Media has grown into a team specialising in headhunting for difficult to fill roles, CV and LinkedIn branding, and talent acquisition training. Leanne also works with recruitment agencies to grow their permanent divisions and develop sustainable growth strategies.

With a Foundation Degree in Human Resources, CIPD qualifications and training in NLP, Leanne is also a speaker and career coach. She has delivered talks and workshops for colleges, universities, and public, private and third sector organisations.

As co founder of Impact Growth Academy, she is trusted by Cumbria Growth Hub, South of Scotland Enterprise, Lockerbie Old School and Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce to deliver keynote talks and practical workshops on personal branding, LinkedIn and modern sales strategies that actually work.

Creating opportunity beyond business

For Leanne, creating opportunities extends far beyond business. She is a proud sponsor of PASE Nepal and St Mary's Primary School in Uganda, where her support has helped 48 children return to school. She also sponsors a young person through university as they work towards gaining medical qualifications.

Following the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquake, Leanne also supported the distribution of winter kits to 300 households across Sindhupalchok in the Nepalese mountains.

She believes every child deserves the basic right to an education and the opportunity to build a meaningful career.

There is no wrong path for anyone. Sometimes we simply need the right people beside us to help navigate the way ahead.

Whether it is your first role, your next role, a career change or a promotion, your next chapter could be just one decision away.
